Rekognise
About Rekognise

Every European org should walk into the AI Act audit prepared.

We're building Rekognise so that no compliance officer has to choose between guessing the AI inventory and shutting down innovation.

Mission

Make every European bank, fintech, insurer and HR-tech company audit-ready by 2 August 2026 — the date the high-risk provisions of the EU AI Act become enforceable.

We focus on the deployer side of the regulation. We don't sell foundation models. We sell the discipline, the evidence trail and the regulator-grade documentation that turns scattered AI usage into a defensible inventory.

Where we sit on the regulation

We are deployer-side. The EU AI Act distinguishes providers (those who develop and place AI on the market) from deployers (those who use AI in their operations). Almost every bank, fintech and insurer in CEE is a deployer of third-party AI — and that's the side we serve.

Concretely: we don't certify your model. We catalogue every AI system you use, classify it against Annex III, and produce the technical documentation Article 11 expects from the deployer.

Why now

The regulation is staged, but the deadline that matters for most CEE deployers is 2 August 2026 — 15 months from today. Fines top out at 7% of global annual turnover or €35m, whichever is higher. Internal audit and the supervisory authority will both be looking for the inventory and the evidence pack first.

    2 August 2024

EU AI Act enters into force

Twenty days after publication in the Official Journal. Most provisions are deferred — but the clock starts here.

    2 February 2025

    Prohibited practices ban

Article 5 prohibitions become applicable. Social scoring, manipulative AI, untargeted scraping for face DBs.

    2 August 2025

    GPAI obligations

General-Purpose AI model providers fall under transparency and training-data documentation duties.

    2 August 2026

    High-risk system enforcement

Annex III high-risk obligations apply to all deployers. Fines up to 7% of global turnover or €35m. This is the deadline.
